Varsity and JV Cheerleaders put on the annual Battle of Bryant Irvin pep rally in the square gym this year, complete with the band, skits, Falcon mascot, and of course, MC Joe Breedlove ’78. The school spirit was high, but it unfortunately didn’t translate into a win for the Falcons; the varsity team lost to Trinity Valley at home on Friday, Sept. 8 49-0, the first loss to our biggest rival in six years. The JV team lost Thursday night, Sept. 7, to the Trojans, 24-13.
