FWCD has a new, rising filmmaker: Hasan Shah ‘16. Shah, who has always enjoyed filmmaking, recently started publishing his short films on his Youtube channel “hshah097” [link to his account if possible].

“I’ve been making these films because I enjoy watching movies, and I would like to go to college with film as a side hobby,” Shah said.

Shah writes, directs, and stars in his films. One of Shah’s favorite films, “Blocked,” is included below. This short horror film follows a kid (played by Shah), as he is harassed by a strange stalker.

Be sure to check out Shah’s Youtube channel – he is planning on coming out with a new short film in the coming weeks. “My next film is about a gang that forces children to steal bank accounts,” Shah said. As an added bonus, this film will feature Sage employee Rosendo, who will star as a gang leader.
