Need a good pick-me-up at any time of the day? Well, Marché Bleu is the place for you. They opened their doors on July 26, 2024, and it has been a hit ever since. Their hours are perfect for everyone because they stay open later than most coffee shops and markets. Monday through Thursday they are open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. They are open from 7:00 a.m.- 10:30 p.m. on Fridays and 8:00 a.m.- 10:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Even on Sundays Marché Bleu is open for shoppers from 8:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m.
Most people think that Marché Bleu is just a coffee shop, but once you step inside the store you will be amazed with all of the great things surrounding you.
When you first walk into the shop, you are welcomed by the kind staff with a smile. There is seating both inside and outside, and the outside seating is perfect for people-watching around Clearfork. At the front where you order, there are four chairs set up at the counter with outlets accessible for laptops and phones.
“I got an iced vanilla latte with whole milk. The coffee was really good and the pricing was reasonable. I like how there was a grocery store inside the shop. I would rate my experience an 8/10,” Reagan Leo ’25 said.
On the wall above the counter, they have coffees listed and a few food options for their customers to choose from. Although Marché Bleu is known for their coffee bar, they also have many different food options. Some of their most popular food items are the avocado toast, the sous vide egg bites, and their pastrami turkey sandwich.
Coffee prices range anywhere from $3 to $7, depending on the size or the add ons to the tea or coffee. Food is also priced reasonably and is all under $15. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which is different from most coffee shops that close around 3 or 4 pm.
“I went to Marché Bleu with Lainey Liberto ’25 and Reesie Packer ’25 after a field hockey practice during the summer, and it was awesome. The environment was cute and the workers were super sweet,” Adelaide Butler ’26 said.
The most convenient part that the customers like most is that Marché Bleu is also a grocery store. Lining the walls of the store are eight refrigerators filled with drinks, juices, snacks, and pre-made meals that are perfect to grab and go. Alongside the refrigerators are shelves filled with cookies, candy, chips, snacks, and condiments. This grocery store shocks many people because it has so many options and is filled with almost everything you would need to make a full meal. Marché Bleu is also super convenient for people who work in Clearfork and want to grab a coffee but can also pick up groceries or any meal for the rest of their day.
“Marché Bleu has made the absolute BEST iced vanilla latte with almond milk that I have ever had. I would rate my experience a 10/10,” Sloan Howard ’25 said.
I went to Marché Bleu over the summer multiple times. The first time I visited the coffee shop was with my field hockey team after we had a morning scrimmage. It was so good, and I loved my coffee and breakfast. I got an iced vanilla latte with almond milk and it was the perfect amount of sweetness but not too much coffee taste. I got avocado toast for breakfast, and it was delicious. It had a great amount of avocado, and the toast was toasted to perfection. I would rate my experience at Marché Bleu a 9.5/10.
I also went with my mom at the start of the school year, and we shopped around in their grocery selection. We were both impressed with their selection of items. We were able to grab some groceries and enjoy a great lunch outside.
All in all I would definitely recommend giving Marché Bleu a try. It is in a convenient location and the employees are awesome and make the shop even better. Marché Bleu is located in Clearfork right next to JOY Macarons. The address is 5256 Marathon Ave.
