Fort Worth Country Day has football themes for eight games in the 2024/2025 season. Country Day students will dress up as each theme. The cheer coach, Courtney Krauss, and the Falcons Fired Up club helped set up the eight football themes.
For the first game against Saint Mark’s School of Texas on August 30, students dressed up as superheroes. Henry Harrington ’25 dressed up as a superhero. He wore a cape and a superhero costume.
“I actually got to decide them this year. I used previous themes and some new ones that I thought of,” Harrington said.
The four seniors in charge of the Falcons Fired Up Club, Laney Liberto ’25, Henry Harrington ’25, Reese Packer ’25, and Connor Davidson ’25, picked out the eight football themes. The themes are Superhero, USA, Tropical, Camo, Whiteout, Western, Neon, and Hoco.
Liberto said, “Reese and I would go back from last year and pick [the themes] that we really liked, and then we would make new ones if we felt like we needed to replace them.”
“[I am most excited for] the western theme because I like cowboys,” Mateo Hatcher ‘28 said.
