Daily Drills. If you are on the chic-cool girl side of TikTok, you have likely seen this name.
Madeline Mehall: My obsession with Daily Drills started during my freshman year when I came across a girl named Mary Ralph Lawson (now Mary Ralph Lawson-Bradley), and I immediately started following her on Instagram. I quickly became obsessed with Mary Ralph and Kennedy Crichlow (her BFF and Daily Drills co-founder). I love how honest and genuine they both are on Instagram; they share so much about their lives, including their faith, which only makes me love them more. After following them for a few months, I noticed they were launching their brand, Daily Drills. Five years later, Daily Drills has taken the world of college-age girls by storm. Even just walking around the DFW airport, I always see girls in Daily Drills. When a girl sees another girl in Daily Drills, they smile at each other like they are a part of some secret club. My best friend, Eloise Senter, and I randomly realized we both followed Mary Ralph, and Kennedy and bonded over our love for them. We have been best friends ever since.
Lainey Liberto: My love for Daily Drills came later than many, but that has not stopped my obsession with purchasing their cutest pieces. I found out about Daily Drills from Madeline during my sophomore year. I always tried to order something but was NEVER fast enough to get my order together before everything sold out. I followed Daily Drills on Instagram and loved their way of marketing. They really do know how to get their buyers invested in their pieces, and they make sure to listen to their followers. At the beginning of my junior year, I was finally able to get my first piece from Daily Drills and became immensely invested in their brand. After my first purchase, I couldn’t help but want something from every drop they had. I found myself always reaching for my Daily Drills because of how comfortable and easy it was to wear.
FWCD class of 2018 alum Bridget Chambers now works for Daily Drills in Los Angeles. After graduating from UT Austin in 2022, Chambers moved out to LA. A few months after living in LA, Chambers reached out to Bradley. Chambers had babysat for a family while living in Austin, and they were good friends with Bradley’s family, so they connected the two. Chambers and Bradley went for a walk, and a week later, Bradley asked Chambers to get coffee and meet her co-founder, Kennedy Crichlow. Little did Chambers know that the meeting was a job interview, and she quickly realized that Daily Drills was the place for her.
Chambers started out managing influencer marketing, but now she is the press and production manager.
Part of the Daily Drills craze is their way of selling items. Instead of a normal boutique that always has items in stock, Daily Drills rarely has items just sitting on its website. Instead, they “drop” their items, making Daily Drills “drop days” extremely stressful for girls our age because of how quickly items sell out. On drop days at FWCD, around 11:50 a.m., you will start to see girls slipping out of classes with their phones, prepping to order their Daily Drills.
We asked Chambers about this sell-out nature, and she told us that it was never intended to be like that.
“Our goal is to not have sellouts, but we don’t want to create excess,” Chambers said.
So don’t worry, girls. Daily Drills is trying to keep items in stock.
MM: Over the past five years, I have collected my fair share of Daily Drills. I would say I probably have about 20 items from Daily Drills…sorry Dad! But I love their clothing for a reason. Each item feels thoughtfully made. Each piece instantly elevates an outfit. Their clothing is so versatile, easy to wear, and most importantly, comfortable. They make a range of clothing, from swimsuits and button-down shirts to sweatshirts. I remember my freshman year, I was taking a Spanish test, looked at the time, and barely finished the test just so I could get my phone to order a pink terry cloth swimsuit. Call me crazy, but it was worth it. It’s still one of my favorite swimsuits.

LL: My Daily Drills collection seems to keep growing with every drop. The Daily Drills’ Logo Ribbed Tank is by far my favorite item. I have the Logo Ribbed Tank in gray, black, white, and pink. I am also hoping they restock their blue tank, so I can add it to my closet. These tanks are so versatile and can be worn with absolutely anything. Another favorite of mine is the Oversized Sport Crew. I have the crew in white and the new monochrome yellow crew, and I love both. They are so comfortable and definitely worth a buy. I also own a set from their Varsity drop. I have the ribbed baby tee and the super shorts in red. This set is so cute and comfy, and it was a staple in the summer. I recently got the Go! V-neck bra and Go! Drills leggings in red. This set is perfect for every workout class and is so flattering. Lastly, I have a pair of navy sweat-shorts and light pink unisex joggers. Both of these bottoms are very soft on the inside and can be worn in cold or warm weather. I will be awaiting the next drop and, more than likely, spending all of my money on their cute new arrivals.

Since Daily Drills is an LA-based company, an obvious question for Chambers was how Daily Drills was going to continue post-fire. Thankfully, their manufacturer is not in LA, so that was not affected. But their office burned down. Chambers said she thinks they will start working in a co-working space in the next week or so, and she is excited to get back with her team.
“My favorite part of working for Daily Drills is my amazing team. I also love the flexibility that comes with a small company; you can play so many different roles,” Chambers said.
Daily Drills is known for having the best color palettes for each collection. A recent collection was the Monochrome collection, which featured pale pink, pale blue, pale yellow, red, brighter pink, and a tan-like color. The most recent collection, which came out this past Wednesday, was the ROADTR!P collection, which featured a range of browns and pinks in different patterns.
Chambers said there are a lot of places from which she draws inspiration for these collections. She uses Pinterest boards, but she also goes around the city to look for ideas.
“I love going and sitting at Century City Mall, watching people’s outfits, going into stores, and getting fun new ideas to take back to the Daily Drills team.”
Talking with Chambers about her experience of working for Daily Drills was so fun, and it was so fun to understand the company more. It confirms to us that it is such a fun company to work for.
