Fine Arts Department Presents “Little Women” Musical

The US production of the musical “Little Women” opens next week in the FWCD Scott Theatre.

A giant arts collaboration will culminate in the production of “Little Women” on the FWCD Scott Theatre stage next week, as the theatre, tech theatre, dance and music departments come together to present the US musical, “Little Women.” The musical is based on the 19th century novel “Little Women” by Louisa May Alcott, and follows the stories of four sisters in Civil War-era times. Cast and crew have been working since before winter break to bring the musical to life next week. The show runs February 18, 19 and 20 at 7:00 p.m. and February 21 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are available on the FWCD website.

The final arts collaboration came with the grouping of the US video journalism class with a group of fourth grade A/V club members, to bring this promotional video to the FWCD community. Enjoy, and we’ll see you at the theatre next week.

*Note: the song at the beginning of the video is from the Broadway track, as the students were still rehearsing, and is not actually Kristin Robinson ’16 singing; the ending song is Robinson, in the role of Jo March, leading the rest of the ensemble.
