Students to Sign Honor Book

To kick of the 2016-17 school year, every student in the upper school will sign the Honor Book between August 22-25. Upper School Division Head Bill Arnold ‘86 will deliver a speech before each individual grade signs. The schedule for the signings is as follows:
Monday: Seniors
Tuesday: Juniors
Wednesday: Sophomores
Thursday: Freshmen
After Arnold finishes speaking, each grade’s Honor Council representative(s) will lead their grade in the Honor pledge. Then the students will sign the Honor Book, proclaiming that they will conduct themselves in accordance with the Honor Code.
The FWCD Honor Code states: “On my honor, I will not lie, cheat or steal, and I agree to act honorably in everything I do at Fort Worth Country Day.”
The Honor Council includes: Meg Fischer ’19, sophomore representative; Kacey Melton ’18, junior representative; Ben Nober ’17, Harry Thomas ’17 and Leo D’Agostino ’17, senior representatives; Allen Taylor ’18, president; Sara Teegarden, advisor.
