Hopdoddy’s Comes to Fort Worth This Spring
March 23, 2017
Fort Worth is getting its very own Hopdoddy Burger Bar on West Seventh this fall. Hopdoddy’s was founded in 2010 in Austin, but now has locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, and Texas. Hopddody’s made number one in Business Insider’s top 50 best burger joints in the United States. The Fort Worth location will be in West Seventh’s Left Bank development. The name is a combination of the word Hop for beer and Doddies for the name of Aberdeen cattle’s original Angus. Hopdoddy’s is famous for its fresh, all-natural beef that comes from humanely raised cows. Burger prices range from a $7 Classic Burger to a $12 Primetime Burger. The fries are hand cut and the buns are baked from scratch daily. A lighter alternative is Hopdoddy’s fresh, organic, and local (when available) greens that average $8.25. Sides include Kennebec fries, truffle fries, chile con queso, and green chili queso. For dessert, Hopdoddy’s unique shake flavors will satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth and cost $6 each.
“I am excited for Hopdoddy’s to come to Fort Worth because it’ll expand the variety of burger choices in Fort Worth,” Nadeen Malik ’18 said.

Restaurant scene continues to improve in Cowtown — didn’t know about the Doddies. Interesting!
