Hi! I’m Lorena, and this is my first year on the Falcon Quill. I’m a “word person,” and I love to write, so I can’t wait to see what this year on the Quill will hold. I have been taking ballet since fourth grade, and now I dance during school year- round. I spend my days looking forward to Mr. Douglas’ world history class and waiting for the crisp fall air to supersede these 104- degree days, but I dread the never-ending freshman seminar classes. I can’t wait for the days that I live in Mexico City with my pets (a weasel and two hedgehogs) and work as a world-renowned, extra-successful nail technician. Right now, however, I am focusing on putting myself out there and trying new things.
