Endless Love is a love story between the bookworm and the workaholic Jade Butterfield, played by Gabriella Wilde, and the popular schoolboy David Elliot who is haunted by his dark and troubled past, played by Alex Pettyfer. After four years of discreetly catching eyes in the high school hallways, Jade and David finally converse after their graduation, and their summer fling begins. Before she knows it, Jade’s doctoring internship is quickly approaching, meaning she will have to leave David in exchange for the future her dad had always planned for her. To say the movie was cliche would be an understatement. The trailers were misleading and it was still completely predictable; nobody actually thought they would break up for good. It did have the potential to be slightly interesting, if the actors, both being English, spoke in their real accents.
