Falcons vs Trojans. Since 1998, these two teams have been going at it, both on the field and off. Last year’s game was an incredible game to go to the SPC championships. Sadly, the Falcons lost 23-19 with three minutes to go in the final quarter.
The Falcons started the year with a 3-0 record, and are pushing for an undefeated record.
After last year’s Battle of Bryant Irvin, the yearly weeklong event is back and feelings are running high. Both teams were ready for the war that was to come.
Speaking of war, this year’s theme was war camo.
“Falcons have run the camo theme all across SPC and no one can do it better than us,” Max Kuperman ’28 and Jack Rodgers “28 said.
These two freshmen have been to many B.O.B.I. games and love the camo theme.
The senior captains are very excited to take back what was theirs from last year’s loss. Everybody couldn’t wait for the game of the year. Friday night at 7:00 p.m., the Falcons took a short drive down to Trinity Valley School’s Rosenthal Stadium. The Falcons entered this game 3-0 while the Trojans were 1-2. The Falcons are this year’s favorites to win SPC.
The captains for this game were Connor Davidson ’25, Luke Mitchell ’25, Jackson Bloemendal ’25,
Chappel Carter ’25, and Joseph Brunson ’25. This will be the last B.O.B.I. game for these five seniors.
Currently, TVS is winning the series by one with Falcons winning 10 of the last 13 matchups going all the way back to 2010 but that won’t be for long.
