New Album of the Week: Bones of What You Believe- CHVRCHES

You probably haven’t heard of them. You have now. CHVRCHES, a synthpop group from Glasgow, Scotland, have a chance to be the next “big thing” in the US.  Their debut album, “Bones of What You Believe”, was released on September 20, but the album’s hit single, “The Mother We Share”, was first performed in July on the Jimmy Fallon Show. Described by record label Neon Gold as a “godless hurricane of kinetic pop energy,” CHVRCHES combines the strong lead vocals of Lauren Mayberry with heavy synthesizers by fellow band members Iain Cook and Martin Doherty to create a new sound that hasn’t yet been explored by the American music industry. Look for CHVRCHES to be discovered in the near future, and take advantage of the chance to see them live on November 23 at the South Side Ballroom in Dallas. Top Tracks: We Sink, Recover
