Seniors Akeira Warner and Hannah Fowler, with junior Izzy Goetz, have spent nearly every Friday after school at the Bethlehem Center teaching young girls to dance and preparing them for a big event in January. The dance event raised $3,000 dollars for the center. Choreographing for a Cause is equally beneficial for the students involved and for the children at the center. The money raised will go toward the purchase of new furniture for the new building, set for construction later this year.

Seniors Kyle O’Brien and Robbie Stackhouse put together a promotional video to be shown at the fundraiser, to help explain the program and the Center’s needs.

United Community Centers is a non-profit agency in partnership with United Way of Tarrant County, the United Methodist Church and other foundations and grants that empowers individuals, strengthens families and enriches communities at three neighborhood centers. The Bethlehem Center provides warm meals and snacks, assistance with homework, and exercise for children who attend the center during the week.
