McCartie McPadden, Managing Print Editor, Social Media Editor

Hi everyone! It’s Junior McCartie McPadden here, and I’m going on my third year on the Quill. As Social Media Editor and Managing Print Editor I’ve got a lot on my plate, but I still make time for some of my favorite hobbies. I really enjoy volunteering and giving back to the community as much as I can both outside of school and also within our community here at FWCD. For instance, I am on the Brain Buddies Exec Board and Fine Arts Leadership Board. Aside from writing and editing absolutely awesome stories, I have grown a passion for theatre and reading forbidden texts (banned books). This year I hope to continue writing engaging stories about philanthropy, local events, and features. And in addition to that, I want to get through Junior year, and continue towards my goal of one day working in public policy!
