Hi, this is Maya Marques; she's a very friendly and welcoming person. This is her first year writing for the Falcon Quill, and she is determined to do the best she can to write entertaining and interesting stories. Maya enjoys reading books and writing poetry, and she also likes to croche clothes for her dog; her friends like to say she resembles a grandma. She does ballet and has been dancing since she was four. She also sings and enjoys theater. Maya hopes to have a great year and is excited to start high school; but if she's honest, she is actually petrified.
