RB Cam Cook 5’11” 200 lbs Previous School: Jacksonville State
New School: West Virginia Experience: Senior
Cook committed to TCU in 2023 and played as a true freshman, carrying the ball 16 times for 58 yards and not preserving his redshirt. The following year, Cook earned the starting job, although the TCU run game struggled that year. Cook had 460 rushing yards (3.9 YPC), which led the Frogs that year. Due to the team’s struggles in the run game, Cook hit the portal, heading to Jacksonville State. The Gamecocks fed Cook the ball, giving him a mind-boggling 295 carries. With so many touches per game, Cook was able to excel, picking up a league-leading 1659 yards. With his talent now on full display, Cook opted to return to the Big 12, transferring to West Virginia to play under head coach Rich Rodriguez.
WR Eric Singleton 5’10” 180 lbs Previous School: Auburn New School: Florida
Experience: Senior
Singleton committed to Georgia Tech in 2023 and made an immediate impact, playing in twelve games and recording 48 receptions for 714 yards and six TDs. The following season, Singleton recorded 56 receptions for 754 yards and 3 TDs. Both seasons, he was the leading receiver for the Yellow Jackets. Following his second season, Singleton entered the portal, transferring to Auburn for the 2025 season. Auburn struggled, as the team went 5-7 and Singleton caught passes from three different quarterbacks. His stats dipped, as he caught 58 receptions for 534 yards and three TDs. Following the season, Singleton once again entered the portal, hoping to find a better situation where he could be the #1 wide receiver. Singleton transferred to Florida, where he will be the primary target-getter.
EDGE John Henry Daley 6’4” 255 lbs Previous School: Utah New School: Michigan
Experience: Redshirt Junior
Daley committed to BYU in 2021, although he wouldn’t play his first until 2023; he spent 2021-2022 on a Mormon mission. Playing in just three games in 2023, Daley would preserve his redshirt and hit the transfer portal, landing at Utah. Daley wouldn’t get his first starts until 2025, where he emerged as one of the best pass rushers in the conference. He racked up 48 tackles, 11.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. He racked a mind-boggling 93.3 PFF pass rush grade, which is tied for first in the entire league. He has a pass rush win rate of 22.9%, which means he is getting past the offensive line around every one in four snaps, which is an astonishing feat. Now heading to Michigan, where there will be an even better defensive supporting cast, Daley’s production might even grow past these insane numbers.
WR Isiah Canion 6’4” 215 lbs Previous School: Georgia Tech New School: Georgia
Experience: Junior
Canion was rated a four-star recruit coming out of high school, committing to Georgia Tech to contribute in head coach Brent Key’s rebuild of the program. Canion was a depth piece as a true freshman, catching just six passes for 83 yards, including a 30-yard catch against the #6 Georgia Bulldogs. He was not able to preserve his redshirt since he played ten games as a true freshman. The flashes he had shown during his freshman season earned him a starting position for the 2025 season, where he was able to catch 33 passes for 480 yards and 4 TDs. Following the 2025 season, Yellow Jackets quarterback Haynes King graduated and will likely go to the NFL, leaving the Yellow Jackets with some uncertainties on offense. This likely contributed to Canion’s decision to transfer to his former rival, Georgia.
EDGE Chaz Coleman 6’4” 246 lbs Previous School: Penn State
New School: Tennessee Experience: Sophomore
Coleman was a highly-touted prospect out of high school, being ranked a four-star recruit. Coleman’s athleticism was on show in high school, where he played quarterback, tight end, edge rusher and linebacker. Coleman would commit to Penn State, where he would be utilized as an edge rusher. Coleman immediately saw playing time, playing nine games in his true freshman season. He contributed eight tackles, three TFLs, one sack, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. While Coleman excelled in his little playing time, Penn State struggled, firing longtime head coach James Franklin mid-season. Following the season, Coleman entered the portal, signing with the Tennessee Volunteers.
OT Lance Heard 6’6” 330 lbs Previous School: Tennessee New School: Kentucky
Experience: Senior
Rated a five-star and the #3 offensive tackle in the class out of high school, Heard committed to LSU to play his first year of college ball in 2023. Heard played 12 games his freshman season, mostly on special teams, earning SEC all-freshman honors but not preserving his redshirt. Following the season, Heard entered the portal, committing to Tennessee in 2024. Heard earned his first starting job, playing in 11 games at left tackle. Heard returned in 2025, playing in 12 games and drastically improving from last season after gaining some experience; his 70.5 PFF overall offensive grade was second on the team among qualified offensive linemen. However, Heard did struggle with penalties, recording seven across the season. Following the season, Heard entered the portal, landing with the Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky let go of longtime head coach Mark Stoops at the end of the season, replacing him with former Oregon offensive coordinator Will Stein, so Kentucky’s future seems uncertain.
HB Caleb Hawkins 6’2” 200 lbs Previous School: North Texas
New School: Oklahoma State Experience: Senior
Hawkins was just a three-star prospect coming out of high school, committing to North Texas. However, the Mean Green immediately saw his value, handing him the starting job as a freshman. Hawkins exploded onto the college football scene, carrying the ball 231 times for 1434 yards (6.2 YPC) and 25 TDs. He also caught 32 passes for 370 yards and 4 TDs. His 25 rushing TDs led the league, and he also led the league in all-purpose TDs; as just a true freshman. Hawkins helped lead North Texas to a 12-2 record. Following the season, head coach Eric Morris and star QB Drew Mestermaker both departed for Oklahoma State, and Hawkins decided to go with them. Due to the influx of star players, there is a lot of hype surrounding Oklahoma State for next season.
S Tye Benefield 6’2” 205 lbs Previous School: Boise State New School: LSU
Experience: Senior
Benefield was not heavily recruited out of high school, ranked just a three-star recruit. However, he would commit to a relatively prestigious program in Boise State, where he made an immediate impact. He played in 13 games his true freshman season in 2023, recording 46 tackles, three sacks and one INT. Benefield upped his production the following year, recording 82 tackles, five TFLs and two INTs. His stats only continued to rise in 2025, pickup up 107 tackles, 8.5 TFLs and two INTs. With his production reaching top-tier levels, Benefield entered the portal, knowing he could land at a more prestigious school. Benefield landed at LSU, who are coming off a disappointing season despite quality defensive play. Benefield will help bolster one of the already most consistently dominant defenses in the league.
WR Cam Coleman 6’3” 201 lbs Previous School: Auburn New School: Texas
Experience: Sophomore
Coming out of high school, Coleman was one of the top prospects in his class. He committed to Auburn as a five-star recruit. His freshman season at Auburn in 2024, he saw the field a lot and had 37 receptions, 598 yards and eight touchdowns. Coming into his sophomore season he was hyped up as one of the best receivers in the nation; he did not disappoint and had 56 receptions, 708 yards and five touchdowns. At the end of the season, Coleman decided to enter the transfer portal after all three of his quarterbacks left. He eventually committed to the University of Texas. Coleman will have a good quarterback, Arch Manning; this will be a good duo in the SEC.
S Koi Perich 6’1” 200 lbs Previous School: Minnesota New School: Oregon Experience: Sophomore
Perich was a four-star recruit with many offers coming out of high school. He ended up committing to Minnesota and became a fan favorite there. During his two seasons at Minnesota, he appeared in all 26 games. During his freshman season in 2024, he had five interceptions, one forced fumble and 46 total tackles on the season. His sophomore year, he got one interception, one forced fumble and 82 tackles. At the end of the 2025 season, Perich declared that he was entering the portal and committed to Oregon. Perich and the Oregon Ducks are looking to make another run in the CFB Playoffs with his help on defense.
RB Quintrevion Wisner 6’0” 194 lbs Previous School: Texas
New School: Florida State Experience: Senior
Wisner was not heavily recruited coming out of high school, as a three-star recruit. He still got offers from prestigious schools like Texas, where he ended up committing. In his freshman season at Texas, he appeared in all 14 games but was primarily on special teams. During his sophomore season, Wisner became a 1000-yard rusher and had five touchdowns on the ground for Texas. Coming into the 2025 season as a junior, Wisner was looking like one of the best running backs in the SEC with Texas’ other RB, CJ Baxter, out for the season last year. Wisner had to split carries with CJ Baxter after he recovered, and only had 597 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. After Texas let go of their running backs coach, Wisner ended up in the portal, where he committed to Florida State.
RB Hollywood Smoothers 6’0” 194 lbs Previous School: NC State
New School: Texas Experience: Redshirt Junior
Smothers was a three-star recruit coming out of high school and committed to NC State. As a freshman, Smothers started in the last six games of the season. Smothers ended his freshman season with 571 rushing yards and six touchdowns on the ground. In the 2025 season Smothers assumed the starting running back role, picking up 939 rushing yards and six touchdowns on the ground once again. At the end of the season, he entered the transfer portal and became a four-star transfer, eventually committing to the Texas Longhorns. With Texas’ running back room bare after all the running backs left, Smothers is looking to make a huge impact for the team.
WR Danny Scudero 5’9” 174 lbs Previous School: San Jose State
New School: Colorado Experience: Redshirt Sophomore
Scudero committed to Sacramento State as a three-star recruit coming out of high school. Scudero redshirted his freshman season at Sacramento, where he had 664 receiving yards and five touchdown catches. He transferred to San Jose State for his sophomore season; coming into the 2025 season as a redshirt sophomore, he excelled and became the leading receiver in yards at the FBS level. He had 88 receptions, 1291 receiving yards, and 10 touchdown catches. He had some of the best stats for receivers in the country and decided to transfer to Colorado following the season.
LB Cade Uluave 6’1” 235 lbs Previous School: California
New School: BYU Experience: Senior
Cade Uluave came out of high school as a three-star recruit and committed to the University of California, Berkeley. He saw a lot of action as a true freshman and made the first-team all freshman team. He also led all PAC-12 freshmen in tackles and was 13th in NCAA. After three seasons at California he had picked up over six sacks, two forced fumbles and three interceptions. He also picked up 235 tackles and nine pass deflections. After three good seasons at California, he decided to enter the transfer portal and committed to Brigham Young University. He will try to help BYU make it to the college football playoff after they narrowly missed it last season.
LB Rasheem Biles 6’1” 220 lbs Previous School: Pittsburgh
New School: Texas Experience: Senior
Biles was a three-star recruit coming out of high school and committed to Pittsburgh. As a freshman, Biles made an immediate impact, appearing in nine games. He tied the Pittsburgh single season record for blocked kicks with a total of three blocked kicks, becoming an absolute beast on the special team unit. In the 2024 season as a sophomore Biles was promoted to starter, picking up 81 total tackles, nine pass deflections, six sacks and an interception. Biles improved even more in his junior year, picking up 100 tackles, 4 pass deflections, 4.5 sacks and two interceptions. After three great years at Pittsburgh, he decided to enter the transfer portal as a four-star recruit. He ended up committing to the University of Texas.
S Earl Little 6’1” 193 lbs Previous School: Florida State
New School: Ohio State Experience: Redshirt Senior
Little was a four-star recruit coming out of high school and committed to Alabama. After one season at Alabama and redshirting his freshman season, he decided to enter the transfer portal and committed to Florida State. He played all 12 games during his sophomore season but did not see a high quantity of snaps. In his junior season, he stepped up with a much bigger role, starting 11 games out of the 12. In 2025, Little totaled 76 total tackles, two pass deflections, two forced fumbles and four interceptions. Little decided to enter the transfer portal following the season, committing to Ohio State. After Ohio State’s superstar safety Caleb Downs declared for the 2026 NFL Draft, the Buckeyes are looking for someone to fill that role; Little will do a good job replacing Downs. Little’s father is Earl Little Sr, who was a NFL safety who played for the Saints, Browns and Packers.
