With video games gaining and losing popularity rapidly, many people are wondering- what is the game of choice at the moment?
Geometry Dash is a mobile game that has been on the rise over the past couple of months, in part because popular streamer “Jynxzi” started playing, therefore popularizing it. Jynxzi grew his platform by playing the game “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege,” a 5v5 multiplayer game. He has over eight million followers on the streaming platform Twitch, which is the platform on which most people watch him. He posts his livestreams on YouTube, where he has over five million subscribers.
Jynxzi also made the game Clash Royale popular as he started to play it as it blew up on social media. It’s safe to say that Jynxzi has a lot of influence in raising the popularity of the games that he plays.
Geometry Dash is a mobile game created by Rob Top, an app developer, that costs $2.99 on iOS and $4.99 on Steam (a platform where computer players are able to play). Geometry Dash also has a free version called Geometry Dash Lite on iOS and Android, but players have to watch ads to play.
In Geometry Dash, the player plays as a cube that has to navigate through obstacles and reach the end of the level.
Geometry Dash has 22 levels that were created by the app developer, Robert Topala, more commonly known as RobTop. Other than the levels that RobTop created, people made custom levels that are also very popular. There are six levels of difficulty: easy, normal, hard, harder, insane, and demon.
I’ve completed 19 of the total 22 levels, and all that I have left are the three hardest levels.
Geometry Dash is a great alternative to Clash Royale, as it is an offline game that you could play in an airplane or in settings when you have no wifi. The hardest level for me so far has been Electrodynamix. Electrodynamix is in the “insane” category, but it is much more difficult than its rated level.
Although the game can be very annoying, it is worth the struggle once the player beats the level.
Overall, Geometry Dash is a great game, and I’m glad that the game gained so much attention.
