Senior boys broke out the grill to serve the Upper School community on Thursday, Oct. 8. The “Senior Barbecue Crew,” supported by funds from the US Student Council, plans to make an appearance several times this year. Their debut on Thursday was to feed all those attending the girls volleyball and field hockey games. The boys wore green, and the girls all sported green gameday ribbons and shoelaces, in honor of Coach Butch Trader, varsity girls volleyball coach, who has been hospitalized for the past week. The girls varsity volleyball game was dedicated to Traeder with a beautiful dedication written by senior captain Adele Elkind ’16 and read before the game by US Division Head Bill Arnold.
