Spotify’s Year in Music 2015

The year 2015 was a great year in music: Adele, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd and many more. Spotify recounts the year in a creative way in “Year in Music.”
When you log into Year in Music, it relives your favorite moments on Spotify from 2015. It recounts the top artists, albums, tracks, genres, and playlists from your Spotify account as well as the music you listened to in each season. After it reveals your favorite artists and music moments, Year in Music shares the stories that shaped 2015, such as the legalization of same-sex marriage, Zayn leaving One Direction, and the dramatic Presidential Race.
If you don’t have a Spotify account, Year in Music is still accessible. Instead of showing personal records, the program will show the top artists and albums and viral tracks on Spotify.
“It was really interesting to know that I listened to 34,000 minutes of Spotify music in 2015…Wow,” Whitney Kelly ’16 said.
